As well as undergraduate and dental school training, Dr. Chapman has undertaken an additional two years of university specialty training to become a specialist in orthodontics and is recognized as such by the American Association of Orthodontists.

Dr. Chapman was awarded his Doctor of Dental Surgery and Master of Science in Dentistry degrees from Indiana University, and has been in the exclusive practice of orthodontics on the West side of Indianapolis in the Hendricks and Boone County area since 1979. While taking his orthodontics specialty training, Dr. Chapman had experience as a general dentist. Dr. Chapman is originally from England and has had European dental training in addition to his extensive dental training in the United States. He has had a great deal of training and experience in removable, functional, and Invisalign™ orthodontic appliances. Dr. Chapman continues to take numerous continuing education courses, in the United States and Europe, in all aspects of orthodontics including TMJ dysfunction. Dr. Chapman is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Indiana Association of Orthodontists, the World Federation of Orthodontists, the Indiana Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.
